Tests have confirmed no injury for striker Francesco Pio Esposito ahead of Inter Milan’s Club World Cup clash with Fluminese.
This according to Italian outlet FCInter1908. They report, however, that it will still be Marcus Thuram who starts the match in attack for the Nerazzurri.
Inter Milan take on Fluminense in the round of sixteen of the Club World Cup tomorrow.
Reportedly, Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu had been ready to hand the start to young striker Francesco Pio Esposito.
The Italy Under-21 international had started for Inter in their final group stage match against River Plate. And he certainly made the most of that opportunity, scoring his first ever senior goal for Inter.

In the buildup to tomorrow’s match, there have been some doubts about the fitness of Pio Esposito.
That is because of the fact that the 20-year-old had to pull out of training yesterday.
Pio Esposito was experiencing some soreness. This led to worries that he may have suffered a muscle injury.
However, reports FCInter1908, Pio Esposito underwent tests with Inter’s medical staff today.
These showed no injury for the young striker. Therefore, he should be available for tomorrow’s match.
However, reports FCInter1908, it will still be Marcus Thuram who leads the line for Inter alongside Lautaro Martinez.
