Inter Milan are reportedly ready to revive their transfer interest in young Real Madrid attacking midfielder Arda Guler.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri see the 20-year-old Turkish international as a prospective target for the attacking midfield role.
Inter Milan could look to change their formation to a 3-4-2-1 shape next season.
Cristian Chivu is reportedly ready to ditch the 3-5-2 shape, and specifically the idea of a strike partnership.
Instead of having two strikers lead the line, the Romanian reportedly prefers to have a single centre-forward with two attacking midfielders flanking him.
And that changes the nature of Inter’s transfer strategy this summer.

Inter Milan are now in the market for a player who is capable of linking up the midfield and attack.
Valentin Carboni came off the bench to play that role against Urawa Red Diamonds in the Club World Cup. Therefore, the Argentine could very well stay and act as an option in the position.
Meanwhile, Nicola Zalewski has proven capable of playing an attacking midfield role under both Chivu and Simone Inzaghi.
However, at the same time, Inter are also reportedly targeting a signing in attacking midfield.
Nico Paz is one name to have emerged. It is no secret that the Nerazzurri are massive admirers of the 20-year-old Como midfielder, and he would constitute a fairly logical profile.
However, reports SportMediaset, Inter see Paz as being an unrealistic target.
On the other hand, Mediaset report, Inter continue to monitor 20-year-old Real Madrid Arda Guler.
The Turkish international joined Real last summer from Fenerbahce. And it remains to be seen how much of a role he will have under new Los Blancos coach Xabi Alonso.
Therefore, reports Mediaset, Inter have been monitoring Guler for sometime. And they could move for him as a reinforcement suitable to the 3-4-2-1 system.
