Sevilla poke fun at Real Madrid star over Ballon d’Or snub | OneFootball

The latest social media activity on the part of La Liga outfit Sevilla has turned heads in Spain over the last 24 hours.

This comes after the Andalusians, by way of ‘X’, poked fun at Real Madrid star Rodrygo, and the Blancos faihtful.

The name of attacker Rodrygo has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent days.

This comes after the Brazilian was not included on the shortlist for the next Ballon d’Or.

With a whole host of his Blancos teammates in contention to be named world football’s best player, Rodrygo, in turn, wasted little time in making his bemusement known, through social media.

As much was then followed by leading Real Madrid ‘X’ account Madrid Zone unveiling the following post, labelling the 23-year-old’s Ballon d’Or snub ‘an absolute disgrace’:

And the admin at the aforementioned Sevilla could not help but make use of as much to have some fun at the expense of Rodrygo and Real’s supporters alike.

Relaying the post in question, the official Sevilla ‘X’ account added their own caption, of:

‘Admin is not amongst the 30 nominees for the Ballon d’Or in 2024. Absolute disgrace.’
