Milan are serious about snapping up Lazar Samardzic this summer and have planned out a possible swap deal with Udinese.

The Rossoneri still have a number of transfer targets heading into the second month of the transfer window, keen to pick up a new defender, a new striker and two new midfielders, one focused on physicality and the other on technical abilities.

Milan identified Samardzic as an interesting candidate to add some technical quality to the midfield and have already opened talks with Udinese, learning that the talented midfielder has a €25m price tag. He is keen for the move, having declined Lazio and Fenerbahce earlier this summer.

Swap for Samardzic

Page 11 of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Milan and Udinese have started planning out a possible player swap for Samardzic involving Tommaso Pobega, who is valued at around €15m and is appreciated by the Friulian club.

Negotiations will likely drag on for a few weeks and space will need to be made in the squad, with Yacine Adli the likely candidate to move on in the near future.
