According to a report from L’Équipe, Mohamed Bayo could leave Lille OSC before the end of the month after Royal Antwerp have shown interest in the striker.
Bayo who has made 14 appearances and scored two goals across all competitions this season has had to contend with limited minutes since the end of September. The striker has not started since Jonathan David was rested for the start of the Atlético de Madrid match in October. Last weekend, Bayo was left out of the matchday squad for the first time this season when Lille hosted FC Nantes in a 1-1 draw.
Antwerp are one of the clubs that are most interested in bringing in the Guinea international. Their sporting director Marc Overmars is in the market for a forward option and L’Équipe writes that the club could reach an agreement for a loan with an option to buy.
