Despite their public stance, Inter remain eager to part ways with Davide Frattesi during the current transfer window.
The Italian midfielder has grown frustrated with his limited playing time, and the Nerazzurri want to offload any players not fully committed and invested to the club’s project.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma are still firmly in contention to sign Frattesi. Sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is set to meet with Inter today to initiate negotiations.
The interest from Roma is genuine, and Inter are reportedly open to lowering their initial asking price. While the Nerazzurri initially demanded €45 million, the figure could drop to €35–40 million, writes the newspaper.
