Bologna address situation regarding Roma-linked transfer chief Giovanni Sartori | OneFootball

Speaking earlier today at an event promoting the club’s “Sin dall’inizio forza Bologna” initiative, Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci addressed the contractual status of technical director Giovanni Sartori.

The 67 year-old, widely praised for his transformative work with the Rossoblù squad, has been the subject of speculation linking him with a potential move to Roma as his current contract approaches its expiration on 30 June, 2025.

“We already held a meeting with (Vicenzo) Italiano and Sartori to understand what our needs might be for the transfer market,” Fenucci told BolognaNews.net.

“If an opportunity arises, we’ll absolutely evaluate it. However, if we’re considering new additions, we’ll also have to think about potential outgoing transfer deals.”

Adding, “We’re also currently in discussions with Giovanni about his contract. I don’t foresee any issues, and it doesn’t seem like he does either. We talk every day and will reach a solution. Once we do, we’ll announce it.”
