Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha over personal terms, for a move next summer according to reports.
The Blues have been busy this summer and have already made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea are also close to completing deals for Dutch duo Xavi Simons and Jorrel, with negotiations for both players said to be at the final stages.
The Blues attack has undergone somewhat of a revamp this summer, with likely four new signings, plus Estevao Willian joining.
Joao Felix and Noni Madueke have both left, whilst Christopher Nkunku is expected to depart, with there question marks over the future of Nicolas Jackson.
Any more attacking additions this summer are likely to require Jackson leaving, which at this stage is far from guaranteed.

Chelsea have been previously linked with Emegha, with a view to the striker joining the club in 2026, and there’s now been an update Sports Zone.
They took to X.com and said:
“EXCL. Emanuel Emegha and Chelsea FC are closing in on an agreement over personal terms for next summer.
“RB Leipzig are well aware of this, but have asked Chelsea what is possible, as they are considering Emegha a top priority in the event that Šeško moves.”

Emegha scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season, as Strasbourg qualified for the Conference League, but it appears the 22-year-old isn’t far away from becoming a Chelsea player.
It would be quite the rise for Emegha given he only joined Strasbourg from Austrian side Sturm Graz in the summer of 2023.
With Emegha possibly arriving in 2026, that could raise further doubt over the future of Jackson, who’s been linked with a number of teams.
Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle are said to be amongst the interested team, whilst there’s also believed to be interest from Juventus.
Jackson has insisted he wants to remain at Chelsea and fight for his place, but if a big offer came in it would be interesting to see what the Blues would do.
