Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid feels uncertain after a quiet showing at the FIFA Club World Cup. With the transfer window now open, speculation around a potential move is gaining traction.

PSG’s stance remains a bit unclear. Josué Cassé of Foot Mercato reported that the Brazilian forward isn’t currently on PSG’s radar — a claim that contradicts reporting from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also ruled out Tottenham Hotspur as a suitor.

However, Plettenberg noted that both Liverpool and PSG are keeping tabs on Rodrygo. PSG remain very interested and are actively searching for a top young winger, but any move could depend on how the transfer market develops over the next few weeks.

Arsenal had been linked with a move for the Brazilian winger earlier this summer, though Liverpool and Tottenham are also reportedly interested.

However, it now looks like Rodrygo wants to stay put. According to Spanish outlet AS (h/t The Mirror), he’s eager to remain at the Bernabeu and compete for his spot under Xabi Alonso. Rodrygo believes he has the quality to contribute alongside the club’s current attacking options.

Diario AS previously reported that Tottenham is interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo to replace Son Heung-min. Nonetheless, it appears as though any interested club will have to turn to Plan B as the Brazilian will likely stay at Real Madrid even though the wise decision is to leave for a club that can grant him a more prominent role.
