In an interesting twist to the summer transfer window, Abdellah Ouazane’s move to Real Madrid could be back on the table.

According to a fresh report from Dutch outlet Telegraaf (h/t AS), the 16-year-old midfielder has now passed two additional medical examinations in Amsterdam, which describe him as perfectly healthy and fit for top-level football.

Ouazane was originally one of Real Madrid’s biggest targets for their reserve team this summer. The club had been tracking him for months, convinced of his potential.

However, the deal was put on hold after he failed his initial medical tests in Madrid. That setback seemed to end his chances of joining Los Blancos.

Fresh medical results could change everything

Not ready to give up, Ouazane took matters into his own hands. He underwent two more medical exams at the UMC Amsterdam Medical Center, and the results came back positive.

According to Telegraaf, the new tests show that the young midfielder is completely healthy and ready for the demands of professional football.

Real Madrid are now carefully reviewing the new medical reports from Amsterdam. This means the door for Ouazane to join Castilla is still open, and the club is considering revisiting the deal based on the updated information.

Ouazane’s situation has drawn attention across Europe. Despite his young age, the midfielder had already rejected three contract renewal offers from Ajax, as well as interest from other top European clubs, all because he wanted to sign for Real Madrid.

However, his failed medical threatened to derail those plans.

Now, with these new medical reports confirming his fitness, there is real hope that Real Madrid will give the transfer another chance.

If Los Blancos decide against it, Ajax are ready to welcome him back, but other European clubs are also reportedly in the mix.
