Real Madrid ‘quietly’ working on Bosman move for 25-year-old Liverpool ace | OneFootball

Following the success of Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid have looked at the English market quite favourably.

The club have been linked with moves for players such as Reece James and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the recent past, with the latter, in particular, emerging as a key target for Los Blancos.

Currently plying his trade for Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold’s contract at Anfield expires in 2025. His future has come under focus especially after the exit of Jurgen Klopp, with many expecting him to leave the club at the end of next season.

Real Madrid chasing Alexander-Arnold in 2025

According to AS, Real Madrid are keen on acquiring a player of Alexander-Arnold’s calibre without having to pay a transfer fee.

The club have been monitoring the situation closely and is believed to be in regular contact with the player’s representatives.

The potential arrival of Alexander-Arnold would add further depth and quality to Real Madrid’s already impressive squad. His attacking prowess and creativity from the right-back position would be a valuable asset for Carlo Ancelotti’s side going forward.

Not to mention, the Englishman could emerge as an ideal long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal.

The Jude Bellingham pull

Interestingly, Alexander-Arnold is close friends with Real Madrid’s midfield star Jude Bellingham.

The pair have spent their recent holidays together, fueling speculation about a potential reunion at the Santiago Bernabeu. Bellingham’s influence at the club could be crucial in convincing Alexander-Arnold to make the move to Madrid.

In the past, Bellingham has tried to help out Real Madrid by trying to convince players such as Erling Haaland. Whether or not he can succeed in his bid to convince Trent Alexander-Arnold next summer remains to be seen.
