Real Madrid open talks over midfielder sale | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have opened discussions over the potential sale of a member of the club’s midfield ranks.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

As proves the case on a near annual basis, former Arsenal man Ceballos has of course seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the transfer chatter surrounding Real Madrid this summer.

This comes with the Spaniard understood to sit well down the engine room pecking order of new Blancos boss Xabi Alonso.

A whole host of clubs from across Spain and beyond, in turn, have expressed an interest in Ceballos’ services.

And as alluded to above, early this week, one such suitor have gone as far as to open talks over a potential deal with Real Madrid.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Olympique Marseille are keen on signing Dani Ceballos as dream target for the midfield. Initial talks took place, not an easy deal with Real Madrid but Olympique Marseille are trying. Loan with option to buy being discussed.’
