According to El Chiringuito TV, Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. has not yet been approached by the club regarding a contract extension.
The Brazilian forward, who still has two years left on his current deal, is heading into his summer break with no signs of talks starting anytime soon.
Despite being calm about the situation, there is growing concern within the club. Real Madrid want to avoid future problems and would prefer to renew his contract well in advance.
However, as things stand, no progress has been made, and Vinicius is in no rush to sign a new deal.
The initial plan was to finalise his extension after the FIFA Club World Cup, but that has now been put on hold.
The forward is said to be taking his time because he wants to stay in full control of his career decisions. While this is not causing panic yet, it has added to the uncertainty surrounding his future.

While his on-pitch form has drawn criticism, it is his contract situation that is beginning to raise eyebrows.
The forward has always stated his loyalty to Real Madrid and has a strong desire to make history at the club. But there are still unresolved issues, mainly concerning his salary.
Sources suggest that there is a clear gap between what Vinicius’ camp expects and what the club is currently willing to offer.
For now, the player is focused on resting during his well-earned vacation. Once he returns, talks are expected to pick up again.
Real Madrid are keen to sort out his future soon, but it will depend on how both parties handle the negotiations in the coming weeks.
