Real Madrid have made it clear to Dani Ceballos that if he wants to leave, he must instruct his agents to seek high-level offers, claims a report from Diario AS.

It is no secret that Ceballos is considering leaving Real Madrid because he has not had many chances to play. The club, on its part, isn’t closing the door on his departure as well, but there is a big problem: there aren’t any suitable teams interested in him right now.

Notably, Ceballos signed a new contract last year that included a pay raise, and Real Madrid won’t let him go easily.

The Merengues are reportedly asking for at least €20 million for him. Earlier reports suggested that his former team, Real Betis, were close to bringing him back, but they are not in a position to meet Real Madrid’s demands or afford his salary.

Currently, Atletico Madrid and Girona have shown some interest in Ceballos, but Real Madrid’s high demands are making it difficult for any deal to go through.

As of today. Ceballos is seriously thinking about leaving and has communicated this to the club. Real Madrid have stated they won’t stop him from leaving if a suitable offer comes along, but they still see him as part of their squad.

If a good offer comes in, the team won’t block his exit, as there is no shortage of options even in the market and in the academy.

Meanwhile, Ceballos has also built a bit of a reputation in England during his two seasons on loan at Arsenal. However, that happened a long time back no team is willing to bet on him.

Right now, the club is not rushing anything and is treating Ceballos like any other player. This means they are still expecting him to report to training on July 15 despite the uncertainty about his future.
