According to journalist Arancha Rodriguez (via RM4 Arab), recent speculation about Rodrygo’s future has taken a surprising turn.

Despite strong rumours in the transfer market, no club, including Premier League giants Manchester City, has submitted an official offer to Real Madrid for the Brazilian forward.

The journalist mentions that Real Madrid have informed that if any club wants to secure Rodrygo’s signature, they will need to put €100 million on the table.

While the 24-year-old has repeatedly stated his wish to stay at the Santiago Bernabéu, the club is not entirely opposed to a sale, especially if the right offer arrives.

Over the past few days, Rodrygo has been heavily linked with Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola reportedly a long-time admirer of his style and attacking qualities. Bayern Munich have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

However, no concrete move has materialised, and time is ticking as the summer transfer window progresses.

Rodrygo endured one of the toughest seasons of his career, struggling to hit top form consistently.

This has raised questions within the club about his long-term place in the squad, even though his current contract still stands.

While his talent and market appeal remain high, Real Madrid’s €100 million valuation appears ambitious given his recent performances.

For the player, a reunion with peak form is essential, and a move to a club like Manchester City, under a coach who understands his game, could reignite his career if it ever comes to that.

For now, though, no formal approach has been made, and Rodrygo remains part of Xabi Alonso’s plans.

With the transfer window still open, the situation could change quickly. Until deadline day arrives, speculation will continue, but for now, Rodrygo’s future remains firmly in Madrid.
