According to a recent report from SPORT, there is growing concern within Real Madrid about Vinicius Jr.’s attitude. The club’s management believes that the Brazilian star needs to change his behaviour and show more maturity.

Vinicius’ situation may be more significant than initially thought. Despite his talent, the Brazilian seems to be facing some unrest within the team so much so that the general sentiment within the club regarding his actions is not positive, and patience appears to be running thin.

Journalist Anton Meana mentioned that both the people inside the club and those close to Vinicius are calling for an “immediate change in attitude” and for him to “step up” following the recent criticism.

Meana revealed that Vinicius’ only real support in the dressing room comes from manager Carlo Ancelotti. The manager understands the need to help Vinicius regain his best form and believes that the young forward must now take responsibility and improve both his mindset and approach.

Unease at Real Madrid regarding Vinicius

It is said that there is a sense of unease about how the situation with Vinicius has developed. Speaking to those close to the player, it appears that Vinicius himself feels his only real protection comes from Ancelotti.

Previously seen as untouchable, Vinicius’ standing has shifted ever since he left the door open to the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia.

This tension became evident when Vinicius Jr. scored a goal against Real Sociedad and celebrated by putting his finger to his lips, silencing the crowd.

This gesture did not sit well with many Real Madrid fans, as well as some within the club, who believe that Vinicius should tone down his reactions. His attitude is becoming a concern for many, with fans feeling that his desire for attention is a negative trait.

Criticism from everyone

Meanwhile, apart from Predrag Mijatovic, journalist Tomas Roncero also weighed in on the matter. He criticised Vinicius’ decision to silence the crowd, pointing out that there was no need for such a gesture in a match where tensions were not particularly high.

Roncero compared Vinicius to Kylian Mbappe, noting that the French forward does not engage in any behaviour that could be seen as aggressive or provocative towards the fans.

Real Madrid fans and the club management alike are hoping that Vinicius will change his attitude soon and focus more on his football rather than on actions that could detract from his performances on the pitch.
