With Ranieri, Roma has not only climbed the rankings: it has also seen the value of the squad soar.

The numbers speak for themselves. After the disastrous start with Juric — just two points above the relegation zone in mid-November — Ranieri has strung together nineteen consecutive useful results, bringing Roma back into the race for Europe that counts. The same goes for Manu Koné: purchased for 18 million, in December he was already worth 30, today he is close to 40.

And it doesn’t end there.

Ndicka has increased his value by 10 million, while Cristante, Mancini and Pisilli have revalued or consolidated their prices. Dovbyk and Soulé, on the other hand, have gone back to being their former selves, demonstrating that trust and stability can work miracles.

In short, Ranieri has not only saved Roma’s season. He has transformed a depressed team into a points machine and a club with exponentially increased technical capital. More than a journeyman: Ranieri is a true multiplier of value.
