AC Milan found themselves on the right side of the result after a 1-0 victory against Udinese, making it three home wins in a row in Serie A for Paulo Fonseca, which is huge for morale. Speaking Italian for the first time in an interview, Christian Pulisic reviewed the performance.

In the leadup to the game, it seemed that Milan were preparing to move Pulisic into a central role, with Noah Okafor and Samuel Chuwkueze earning spots in the starting eleven, and to Fonseca’s delight the decision paid off.

All three were involved in the only goal of the evening, and we saw the best of the American as he intelligently set Chukwueze up for a nice finish into the corner.

It can be argued that the attack suffered from an early red card in the game, but there were certainly promising signs shown once again.

After the game, Pulisic spoke to DAZN about the game, doing so in Italian for the first time in his Rossoneri career which was a nice touch, and his words have been relayed by Milan News.

“We suffered the whole match, the team’s spirit was perfect.”

You were on the pitch everywhere, all that was missing was that you were also a goalkeeper!

“I have to ask Maignan [laughs]. True, I played in every position, but I am happy because we deserved the victory.”

A victory that must be a starting point…

“We have to take this game and gain confidence, continuing like this we can win many games.”
