Currently coasting at the top of the table with what should ultimately prove an insurmountable lead over Marseille, PSG remain in hot domestic form while a certain young star led the charge tonight after Luis Enrique started the night with Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha on the bench.

Belgian youngster and former Anderlecht academy graduate Lucas Stassin set Les Verts off and running on the night when he bagged the opener in just the 9th minute of action at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

Despite their dominance of Ligue 1 this season once again, PSG struggled in the opening exchanges away from the capital as Luis Enrique's outfit were lackadaisical when in possession, but soon grew into the match after the 20-min mark.

The French champions would finally claw back level from the penalty spot thanks to Portuguese international Gonçalo Ramos, who converted his effort from 12 yards out two minutes before the interval.

Normal service resumed for PSG after the break when Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia put the Ligue 1 holders out in front five minutes after the restart as Enrique's troops continues to turn the screw.

PSG put the result beyond doubt just three minutes later when Irvin Cardona was stripped of possession in midfield before Bradley Barcola picked out Désiré Doué's run into the area, with the French youngster ultimately dispatching his effort past Gautier Larsonneur.

It was a brilliant quick-fire comeback from PSG after opening exchanges which appeared to have the club destined for an upset result away from home.

With the gas pedal to the floor, PSG bagged a fourth goal in the 63rd minute after João Neves hit his third goal in club colours from close range as Les Verts were utterly deflated.

Doué would complete his brace on the night soon after, with the newly-capped French international once again showing why he's broken into the Les Blues senior side on the back of brilliant performances this season.

And with one final act of aggression, academy graduate Ibrahim Mbaye bagged his first senior goal for the club just seconds before the end of normal time to complete the rout, seeing PSG ruthlessly put Saint-Étienne to the sword.
