Pre-season starts this week: Watch LIVE on Celtic TV

Celtic pre-season games start this week, with a trip to Somerset Park this Friday (July 5) to take on Scott Brown’s Ayr United.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO PRE-SEASON

Next week, the Hoops take on Queen’s Park for the first time in 15 years at the City Stadium (KO: 19.45). Later in the month, Callum McGregor and the Bhoys will make their way to the USA – starting with a match at the Audi Field stadium on July 20 for a game against DC United, one of the founding clubs of Major League Soccer in America.

Manchester City are the opponents just three days later, when the Scottish and English Premiership champions will face off at Kenan Stadium in North Carolina. The sides have only met competitively twice, in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League back in 2016/17.

Finishing up the pre-season matches on Saturday, July 27 is a game against Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea at Notre Dame Stadium, Indiana. It will be the second meeting of the sides on American soil, with the only previous encounter in Seattle during Celtic’s famous tour of America back in 2004.
