After two 1-0 wins at Molineux, Wolves will travel to St. James Park to face Newcastle United for a 15:00 o’clock kick off in the Premier League.

Wolves have not won at St. James Park since the 18/19 season, when Matt Doherty scored the winner in the final minutes.

The hosts come into the game following a narrow FA Cup win against Championship side Blackburn Rovers, Fabian Schar scored the winning penalty for his side.

Eddie Howe’s team have a few injuries to note: Callum Wilson (pectoral), Nick Pope (shoulder), Joelinton and Matt Target (thigh injuries).

Sven Botman was rested midweek, but could return to the side this Saturday.

Sandro Tonali remains suspended.

Gary O’Neil’s team will travel to Newcastle on the back of two consecutive clean sheets, the first time since May 2023.

Wolves have an additional player on the injury list, South Korean Hwang Hee-Chan.

Matheus Cunha remains out with a hamstring injury.

Joao Gomes looked to be injured midweek, but O’Neil has confirmed it was just a cramp.

One to watch for the Magpies will be Anthony Gordon, who scored in the recent game and has been an important player for Eddie Howe.

One to watch for the Old Gold will be Rayan Ait-Nouri, who actively provides attacking threat for Gary O’Neil’s team.
