Celtic FC Women got their 2025/26 campaign off to the best possible start, with three points on the road in a 2-1 victory against Hearts on Sunday.

A superb first-half performance set down a marker from Elena Sadiku’s side, who raced into a two-goal lead.

Those goals came through Morgan Cross and Natalie Ross, who got the Hoops’ scoring underway for the new season.

The two first-half strikes proved valuable as the Celts ran out 2-1 winners, and both players spoke to Celtic TV after the match.
