Goals from Alessia Russo and Georgia Stanway earned a valuable three points, with a draw on Tuesday against Sweden ensuring progress through to the tournament in Switzerland.

England, of course, are looking to defend the crown they earned at Wembley two years ago.

Park was thrilled as she spoke on the final whistle.

“Job's done. We got the three points,” said the midfield playmaker.

“We are disappointed to have conceded that goal but we had lots of opportunities to put the ball in the net and we're happy with the three points.

“I loved every second. I always want to be on the field so it was a real good game."

Looking ahead to Tuesday’s decider in Gothenburg, our No.16 added: “We're so focused.

“We've been working really hard and just want to get those three points.”
