Official: Barcelona sign Emilio Bernad | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have announced a fresh addition to the club’s goalkeeper ranks, at reserve level.

This comes amid confirmation of the arrival of Emilio Bernad.

Bernad, for his part, is a 25-year-old shot-stopper, who came up through the youth ranks of Valencia.

The Spaniard most recently spent time plying his trade on the books of Racing Ferrol in the Spanish 2nd tier, for the last two seasons.

After recently becoming available as a free agent, though, Bernad will now be afforded the opportunity to showcase his talents at one of La Liga’s biggest clubs.

As much comes with the former Spanish youth international having put pen to paper on terms with the aforementioned Barcelona.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Catalan club:

‘FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Emilio Bernad for him to join Barça Atlètic. Bernad signs a one-year deal, until June 30, 2026.’
