Luis Henrique says that it is “an honour” to wear the Inter Milan shirt, and that he has a “heart full of gratitude” arriving at the club.

The Brazilian gave his thoughts on his arrival at the Nerazzurri in an Instagram post.

Luis Henrique has completed his move to Inter Milan from Marseille.

The Nerazzurri have snapped the 23-year-old up as their latest signing on the flanks. Reportedly, he will be the main backup for Denzel Dumfries at right-wingback next season.

Luis Henrique has caught the eye of Inter with his performances for Marseille this season. He has gradually moved into more of a wingback role from an attacking winger position under Roberto De Zerbi.

Inter have reportedly been negotiating with the Ligue 1 club for the past several weeks. And they have gotten the deal to sign Henrique wrapped up in time for him to go to the Club World Cup.

Luis Henrique wrote in his first words to the Inter fans: “Today a new chapter in my life begins.”

“And it’s impossible for me not to be happy, and feel motivated by this opportunity.”

“I want to thank Inter deeply for trusting my work, and having opened the doors of such a great club to me. Full of history and passion, where great Brazilian players have made history.”

Henrique writes that “It’s an honour to wear this shirt.”

“And to represent an institution with so much tradition.”

“I arrive with a heart full of gratitude,” continues the Brazilian. “And with a great desire to give my best on the pitch.”

“I can only thank Roc Nation, who believed in me and worked with me. With loyalty and dedication.”

Henrique gives “my heartfelt thanks” to his agency.
