A court had heard that the former Aston Villa captain was caught speeding by a mobile camera at Station Road, Wythall, Worcestershire, while driving a Range Rover Sport on the morning of 17 July, 2023.

It is now understood that Magistrates in Worcester also handed Grealish, who did not appear in court but pleaded guilty through his barrister, five penalty points.

Grealish was also ordered to pay £110 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £266, leaving him with a bill of £1,042.

After confirming the maximum penalty for the offence was £1,000, reduced to £666 after a guilty plea, Jack Grealish’s barrister John Dye said, as per the BBC, “He can afford to pay that figure.

“I am asked to apologise on his behalf. It was a mistake.”

Dye has also stated that Jack Grealish meant no disrespect by not appearing in person.

Grealish’s focus remains on Manchester City duties for the remainder of the month, with himself and his teammates eyeing a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League crown, as well as a domestic double through the FA Cup.
