Manchester City have completed their first transfer for the 2025/26 campaign with the signing of defender Jade Rose.
The Canadian international joins the club having played for Harvard Crimson's college team with the 22-year-old now swapping Ivy League for Manchester after having signed a contract to keep her at the club until 2029.
Rose is already a fully fledged Canada international having initially made her debut for her country in 2021 in the SheBelieves Cup.
“I’m so incredibly excited, so proud of how far I’ve come, and I just can’t wait to get started," Rose said about joining her new club.
"I think the history of the Club, the fans, the style of play, the city, everything [attracted me to City].
"I’m just super excited to get started. I’m ready to win the Champions Leagues, to win every trophy that’s out there. I think the sky is the limit for this team and I can’t wait to grow and get at it."
Rose will wear the number four shirt for City next season.
