Paris Saint Germain head coach Luis Enrique's publicly thrown his support behind Ousmane Dembele to win the 2025 Ballon d’or following the French winger’s electric form across historic season for the Parisian giants.

Speaking after PSG’s dominant 4 - 0 semi final win over Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the Spanish tactician praised Dembele's game changing impact and trophy laden campaign.

Dembele dazzles again on global stage

In thrilling performance against Real Madrid on Wednesday, Dembele assisted Fabian Ruiz for the opening goal in the 6 minute before scoring himself just 3 minute later.

Ruiz & Goncalo Ramos added 2 more goals as PSG cruised into the Club World cup final.

Enrique didn’t hold back in his post match comments:

"To win the Ballon d’or, you must score, assist and win trophies. If there's one player who’s done all that, it’s Dembele. He stands apart from everyone else"

Dembele’s performances have been central to PSG’s sweeping success this year with the club claiming 4 major titles: the Champions league, Ligue 1, Coupe de France and the French League cup.

Now the 27 year old will lead PSG into an all european final against Chelsea this Sunday as the inaugural 32 team FIFA Club World cup in the U.S nears its climax.
