Liverpool are expected to make an incredible offer for Alexander Isak in the next few days. Here's the latest.
Liverpool's move for Alexander Isak finally has some traction. The Reds are reportedly getting closer to finding an agreement.
The Telegraph claims progress was made within the last 24 hours, presumably on the back of Nick Woltemade agreeing to move to Tyneside. Newcastle have struck a huge agreement with Stuttgart for the striker.

That opens the door to a sale for Isak. It's been a long time coming, of course, with several failed attempts from the Magpies to find a new centre-forward putting Liverpool's plans at risk.
Woltemade, though, is the bombshell update Liverpool have been waiting for. An offer can now go in for Isak - though, talks will continue and negotiations will happen.
Here's what the Telegraph understands to be the latest.
The Telegraph claims there are expectations that a bid will go in over the weekend. The transfer deadline is on Monday, of course, so we imagine talks ahead of an offer will occur on Friday.
'Sources' at the Telegraph anticipate an offer of around £130m to kick things off. However, Newcastle hold Isak's valuation at around £150m.
Surely a middle ground will be found there. Honestly, we'd be shocked to see them reject £130m as that's a truly insane amount of money and unlike anything Liverpool have ever offered before.
