Levante and Barcelona go head-to-head in La Liga on Saturday. Both sides are aiming for a strong start to the campaign, in an exciting La Liga Fixture.
Levante have several injury concerns ahead of their home fixture. New signings Alan Matturro, Kervin Arriaga and Goduine Koyalipou are all doubtful due to injury problems.
Carlos Álvarez and Matías Moreno have returned to group training after recovering from their respective injuries – Álvarez from groin issues and Moreno from a quad injury. Alfonso Pastor remains unavailable with a broken finger.
Robert Lewandowski is expected to return to the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him out of the opening match. The Polish striker has returned to training this week and could feature against Levante, though Ferran Torres may retain his place up front after scoring in the season opener.
Marc-André ter Stegen remains sidelined with a back problem and will not be available until later in the year. Joan García will continue in goal after an impressive debut against Mallorca.
New signing Marcus Rashford made his competitive debut as a substitute in the opening match and will be pushing for more involvement. Marc Bernal is out long-term with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Levante lost the first match against Deportivo Alaves as they conceded a goal in the dying minutes of the match. They will looking for a better show against Barcelona at their home ground.
Barcelona started the season with a 3-0 victory against Mallorca in the season opener and both their attack and defence is looking solid as of now.
