Leicester City tie up deal for Chelsea prospect Michael Golding | OneFootball

Leicester City have completed the signing of Chelsea midfield prospect Michael Golding.

Golding made just one senior appearance for the west Londoners prior to Sunday’s move to the Premier League newcomers.

The Foxes paid a reported £5m to seal the 18-year-old’s services in a move which came just days after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s switch to Stamford Bridge.

“I’m really looking forward to making leaps and bounds in my career here at Leicester and working hard to help the team as much as I can,” said Golding.

“Obviously the history of the club speaks for itself; there are great players here and I’m looking to soak up as much information as I can from the senior players, to learn from the staff and hopefully have a great season.”

Steve Cooper’s side kick off their latest top-flight campaign at home to Tottenham on 19 August.
