Lee Carsley has been talking about Lewis Hall.
Thursday seeing the 20 year old with his first ever senior England call up.
Anthony Gordon also keeps his place in the England squad.
However, Newcastle United teammates Nick Pope and Tino Livramento not included this time, after having been involved in the October one.
Lewis Hall deservedly getting this first senior call and Lee Carsley explaining why.
England interim head coach Lee Carsley quizzed on Lewis Hall and Taylor Hardwood-Bellis getting their first senior call ups:
“Both players have played a lot of minutes this season, showed they can play at a high level.
“I know them both really well.
“Taylor is a player who really deserves it, he’s a brilliant captain.
“Lewis has taken his time to settle in but has shown he can be consistent.
“He’s got a great left foot.
“It’s a good challenge to see if he can maintain that.”
Lee Carsley on Thomas Tuchel, who will replace him after the current international camp:
“He hasn’t had any influence on the squad selection.
“I congratulated him via text.
“He is highly respectful of the job I am doing.
“I see this as a massive privilege, the trust the FA have placed in me and my team.”
Lee Carsley on his interim role:
“I’ve really enjoyed it [with the senior squad].
“It’s a massive honour to have the trust of the FA. I think we’ve shown we’re capable of doing it.
“My priority is making sure I do a good job every day and not look too far ahead.
“A positive would be getting two good results and going out on a high.”
Lee Carsley on his next move:
“My role will be back with the under-21s.
“A role I’m really privileged to do.
“With that there is total support from the senior team.
“I’m in a better position now to do that.”

The England men’s senior squad to play Greece and Republic of Ireland in the UEFA Nations League has been selected.
Interim head coach Lee Carsley has picked a 26-man group for the double-header, which kicks-off with a crucial trip to Athens on Thursday 14 November before Ireland are the visitors to Wembley on Sunday 17 November.
Carsley has selected two new faces for November’s squad, with defenders Taylor Harwood-Bellis of Southampton and Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall both named in a senior group for the first time.
Harwood-Bellis comes into the squad having been a regular for England development teams in recent years. He captained the MU21s to the EURO title in 2023, before helping lead them to qualification and an opportunity to defend their title at next summer’s U21 EURO Finals.
And Hall joins the seniors having also helped the MU21s this term, featuring in their victories over Ukraine and Azerbaijan in October.
The Three Lions squad will meet at St. George’s Park on Monday, where they will begin their preparations for the two games and what will be the final camp in charge for Carsley.
