Lazio are reportedly very close to reaching an agreement with Hellas Verona over the transfer of Tijjani Noslin.

The 24-year-old joined the Gialloblu from Fortuna Sittard in January as part of a major squad overhaul. But while he had arrived in Italy as a relative unknown, the Dutchman produced the goods for Verona, helping the club achieve survival with five goals and four assists in 17 Serie A appearances under the guidance of Marco Baroni.

Lazio Closing In On Tijjani Noslin

Following the Italian manager’s move to Lazio, Noslin became an immediate transfer target for the Biancocelesti. Sporting director Angelo Fabiani has been working to lure the versatile attacker to Formello for several weeks now.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are edging closer to finalizing an agreement with Verona over Noslin’s transfer. The two clubs are now ironing out the last details of an operation that should cost the Italian capital side around €15 million and won’t include players in exchange.

Hellas Verona’s Juan Cabal Also Being Targeted

Moreover, the source reveals that Lazio are also negotiating a move for Verona left-back Juan Cabal. The Aquile have identified the 23-year-old as the right profile to bolster the fullback department. However, the two operations remain separated, so while Noslin’s deal is now at an advanced stage, the negotiations for Cabal could require additional time.
