Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani has decided to turn down a move to Bologna in order to join Torino instead.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Granata will pay a loan fee of €1.5 million, and have a €12 million purchase option.
The last few days have seen things finally get in motion for Kristjan Asllani to leave Inter.
The Nerazzurri had made it abundantly clear to the 23-year-old that he would not be a part of the project.
However, both Inter and Asllani have been waiting for suitable offers.
In the last week two clubs have pushed to sign the Albanian international.
Bologna and Torino have both been eyeing up a deal before the transfer window slams shut.

A few days ago, it had seemed to be Bologna who had the decisive advantage in the race to sign Asllani. They were closing in on an agreement with Inter.
However, the Rossoblu struggled to agree personal terms with the player.
Therefore, this gave Torino an opening to make a move of their own.
And the Piemontese club have convinced Asllani himself, rather then moving to make a better offer to Inter.
The Albanian has agreed personal terms. Therefore, he will be a new tactical option for Granata coach Marco Baroni.
