Inter Milan are close to reaching an agreement to sign Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny this summer (h/t journalist Gianluca Di Marzio).

The Nerazzurri have been in concrete talks to sign the French youngster after identifying him as a top target to reinforce their attack.

They are looking to finalise an agreement worth up to €25 million with Parma in the coming days.

Inter’s new manager Cristian Chivu has been instrumental in the transfer, having worked with Bonny at Parma.

After helping Parma win promotion to Serie A, the 21-year-old continued his fine form last season, bagging six goals and four assists.

His impressive performances in the second half of the season under Chivu helped Parma avoid relegation.

Bonny showcased a remarkable ability to drop deep to aid the build-up, playmaking skills and dribbling prowess.

His physicality and brilliant work rate make him an ideal fit for the Nerazzurri.

The Frenchman would provide excellent cover for Inter’s fearsome attacking duo of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Having already secured the signings of Luis Henrique and Petar Sucic, Inter could follow up with Bonny in this transfer window.

Inter could look to strengthen their midfield, with Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Frattesi linked with a potential exit.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are keen on Calhanoglu, while Frattesi is on Inter’s wishlist.
