All the talk after Liverpool's performance against Wolves was that this once dominant force this season was in decline.
And that may have seemed premature, especially seeing as they won the game and finished the weekend seven points clear of second place.
After taking the lead at Villa Park this evening, it may have seemed like business as usual, but Aston Villa were able to turn the game on its head at the end of the first half, with a goal from Youri Tielemans and a stoppage time effort from Ollie Watkins.
Those two goals came from only three shots on target for the Villains in the first half, and created a situation that Liverpool hadn't seen in almost five years.
Liverpool had not scored first and gone in at half-time behind in the Premier League since July 2020 vs Arsenal, raising those questions over their form once again.
Can they turn it around in the second half?
