The English club is reportedly close to finalizing the signing of Jackson Tchatchoua, the Cameroon international full-back currently playing for Hellas Verona. According to reports, an offer from the Reds has convinced the Italian side to let their player go.

Soon to be 24 years old, Tchatchoua has established himself as a versatile and reliable footballer in Serie A. Capable of playing on both the right and left flanks, he has featured in 62 matches for Hellas Verona, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists. Once courted by AC Milan and Inter Milan, he ultimately won over Nottingham Forest. The English club did not hesitate to meet the financial demands of the Venetian side.

For Hellas Verona, this deal represents an excellent piece of business. Having arrived on loan from Charleroi in 2023, the player was permanently signed for just 3 million euros last summer. One year later, the potential profit is clear. Nottingham Forest has tabled a €12 million offer, including bonuses, to secure Jackson Tchatchoua's services as early as this summer.
