Galatasaray submit bid for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson

Süper Lig giants Galatasaray have submitted a bid worth €3m to Manchester City to acquire their No. 1 goalkeeper Ederson (31), according to a report from L’Equipe. The Brazil international shot-stopper is set to enter his final contract year, and the Citizens must now decide whether or not they will allow him one final campaign under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola.

Ederson has completed eight full seasons with Manchester City following his 2017 move from SL Benfica. The Premier League side must rejuvenate their goalkeeping department and City are reportedly interested in a move for FC Porto’s Diogo Costa. Ederson has been a vital part of Manchester City since his arrival. The Brazil international has won the 2022-2023 Champions League as well as six Premier League titles.
