Forest Green Rovers are set to complete the signing of Coventry City forward Aidan Dausch on loan, Hayters.com understands.
Hayters.com first reported Forest Green’s interest in the USA youth international last month, and they are now set to complete a deal to bring the 19-year-old to the club.
He follows Coventry team-mate Isaac Moore to the club, who also joined Forest Green on loan earlier this summer.
Dausch has previously appeared for the Coventry first team and spent time on loan at National League South side St Albans City last season, where he impressed.
Rovers have been busy this summer after appointing former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage as their new boss, following the departure of Steve Cotterill.
Alongside Moore and Dausch, they have also moved to bring in striker Kairo Mitchell from Rochdale, midfielder Jayden Clarke from Gillingham, goalkeeper Luke McNicholas from Wrexham, defender Abraham Kanu on loan from Reading, and Macclesfield trio Laurent Mendy, Tre Pemberton and Neil Kengni.
They are also hoping to keep hold of last season’s star man Kyle McAllister, who scored ten goals and notched ten assists during the last campaign and was named in the National League team of the season.
Forest Green get their league campaign started on Saturday when they take on Solihull Moors.
