The ex-Inter and Roma star is under contract with Fenerbahce until the end of the month, so he’s available as a free agent.

Bologna have already opened talks with the experienced striker, as I already reported last week.

Pioli is an admirer of Dzeko

Dzeko, however, is a profile that Fiorentina really like, and Stefano Pioli, the leading candidate for the job at the Stadio Franchi, is also an admirer of the 39-year-old forward.

Fiorentina see Dzeko as an ideal backup striker for Moise Kean, and although Bologna have been in talks with the former Manchester City star for several days, Fiorentina remain interested in a deal.

Dzeko scored 107 goals in 268 appearances in Serie A, playing for Inter and Roma.
