Former Roma and Inter striker Edin Dzeko is open to joining Bologna and has already held talks with the Rossoblu director, Giovanni Sartori.
Former Serie A striker Dzeko is open to returning to Italy and has already held talks with Bologna, sources tell Football Italia.

Dzeko’s contract with Fenerbahce expires at the end of the month, so the 39-year-old is available as a free agent.

Dzeko has received several offers, but Football Italia can reveal that the former Roma and Inter star is eager to return to Serie A and is keen to move to the Stadio Dall’Ara, where even Vincenzo Italiano has given the green light for a transfer.

Dzeko already spoke to Bologna director Sartori in recent days.
Dzeko is still fully fit and also scored the winner for Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday, in a 1-0 win over San Marino.
The experienced striker has scored 107 goals in 268 matches with Inter and Roma in Serie A.
