Although other sources painted it as an imminent deal, Burnley have only enquired about Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna.

A couple of days ago, a report in the Italian media claimed that the newly-promoted Premier League club is close to finalizing the Frenchman’s transfer for €13-15 million. However, this source failed to explain why, 48 hours later, Tchaouna is still a Lazio player, with no signs of an incoming transfer.

Burnley Don’t Have an Agreement with Lazio for Loum Tchaouna

As we previously reported, the 21-year-old could end up leaving the Italian capital side at one point during the summer, and Burnley could well be a possible destination, and the same applies to PSV Eindhoven, who have been following the player since January. However, there is no evidence of an imminent transfer on the horizon.

Moreover, Maurizio Sarri and his staff could be intrigued by the former Salernitana man, so they might want to test him in pre-season before making a decision on whether to keep him or sell him. So, all in all, it is too early to tell where Tchaouna will play next season.
