A scout from Premier League side Everton was present during Fenerbahce’s game against Besiktas to watch Oguz Aydin play.
The Merseyside outfit brought in several forward players in the summer but still have struggled to produce in front of goal this season, which has made Sean Dyche’s job more difficult.
Dyche saw his side thrash Wolves 4-0 on their last outing, but it marked more of the exception than the rule this term for the Toffees.
Potential reinforcements are being looked at ahead of January and Fenerbahce’s 24-year-old winger Aydin is someone who is attracting interest.
According to Turkish daily Sabah, an Everton scout was present during Fenerbahce’s game against Besiktas at the weekend to watch Aydin play.
However, Everton’s scout was not the only one present at the game, as Lille and Lazio representatives were also monitoring Aydin.
Aydin joined Jose Mourinho’s side in the summer and has netted three times while laying on one assist in his last three games.
The 24-year-old has a contract with Fenerbahce until June 2028 and it remains to be seen whether Everton will step up their interest in the forward in January.
