Evan Ferguson completes move to Roma | OneFootball

Evan Ferguson has joined Italian side Roma on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, with the Serie A club holding an option to buy for around €40 million.

The Republic of Ireland international is looking to revive his career after a frustrating run of injuries and a dip in form saw him slide down the pecking order at the Amex.

Still only 20, Ferguson had a stop-start 2024/25 campaign, featuring for Brighton in the first half of the season before a loan move to West Ham. Across both clubs, he managed just one goal in 23 appearances.

Roma are now backing the young forward to rediscover the form that once marked him out as one of the Premier League’s most exciting prospects.

He notched 16 goals and four assists in his first two professional seasons at Brighton, and the Italian giants are hoping a change of scenery can help him get back on track.
