La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly on red alert after news emerged over Rafael Leao’s uncertain future at Milan. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri could offload the Portuguese superstar in the summer transfer window.

Despite Leao’s household status, Milan could cash in on him at the end of the season. The 25-year-old has blown hot and cold this season, making the club reconsider their stance. Indeed, they had considered him unsellable until recently.

However, after numerous underwhelming showings this season, Leao could finally complete a long-rumored transfer outside Serie A. In addition to Barcelona, Premier League heavy spenders Chelsea harbor interest in the former Lille winger.

Leao has made 35 appearances for Milan this season. Yet, he has accumulated only nine goals and eight assists. Moreover, he scored just twice in his last 11 league outings, highlighting his noticeable dip in form compared to recent campaigns.
