The left-back made 18 appearances in Italy’s U18 league, contributing with two goals in the process.

The youngster was born in Kinshasa, and holds Italian and Congolese citizenship.

But according to FcInterNews, Castegnaro is heading towards the exit door this summer as he’ll try to make a name for himself elsewhere.

Luckily for the fullback, he won’t be short of suitors, with the list including two Serie A clubs in the shape of Empoli and Como.

Empoli, Como & Others Vying For The Services Of Inter Milan Youngster Jean Castegnaro

Empoli has been one of the best clubs in Italy when it comes to developing young promising players. This includes the likes of Fabiano Parisi, Tommaso Baldanzi and Jacobo Fazzini among many others.

For their part, Como have secured a historic promotion to the top flight after finishing second in Serie B.

In addition to the Serie A duo, Castegnaro has also caught the attention of Cremonese.

The Tigers were on the cusp of completing a swift return to the top tier, but fell just short in the play-off finals against Venezia. Therefore, they will remain in Serie B for the second year in a row.

Finally, the source names Serie C side Giana Erminio as yet another suitor for the teenage left-back.
