Eddie Howe and the players hoping to follow up their victories over Chelsea and Arsenal.
United having already won this season at the City Ground, that League Cup victory back in August.
Eddie Howe Nottingham Forest press conference on Friday:
“They are having a great season.
“Nuno deserves credit for the job he has done.
“They have a way of playing that really works for them.
“Very tough to play against.
“They are going to pose a big test for us.
“They have a solid defensive base, really good pace in wide areas.”
Eddie Howe on injury and availability:
“I don’t think we are missing anyone new.
“Jacob Murphy should be ok for Sunday.
“We are still working on getting the injured players back and they are all making progress.
“We hope that Sven [Botman] can begin light training in the next few weeks.
“If we see him before the end of the year that would be a bonus.
“We are probably though looking at more like January.”
Eddie Howe on consistency:
“We are looking at improvements this year.
“Consistency is a big, big word for us.
“Not the most interesting response, I know, but these are the things that we judge ourselves by.
“I think, if we can find that ability to win games and put a sequence of results together, the Premier League is so tight, it can really change the feeling.”
Eddie Howe on the Lewis Hall England call-up:
“He has had a really good start to the season.
“Consistent and really mature displays.
“There is still a lot to come from him, he is adding layers to his game all the time.
“It’s a big achievement and we are delighted for him.”
Eddie Howe on the international break:
“The plan is to get some warm weather training in Saudi with the players for three or four days during the international break.”
Eddie Howe on today marking his third anniversary as Newcastle United Head Coach:
“I am so pleased with how it has gone.
“It feels good to still be here.
“We believe we can do extraordinary things.
“That is the focal point of everything we do every day.
“You always want more.
“You are always not entirely satisfied, because we haven’t got the one thing we wanted when we came in, which was a trophy.
“That is still the dream and it is still driving us.”
