Date confirmed for Northumberland Senior Cup semi-final

The young Magpies booked their spot in the last four after a 5-1 victory against Alnwick Town in November, courtesy of Mo Sedibeh's brace and strikes from Alfie Harrison, Josh Donaldson and Johnny Emerson.

Diarmuid O'Carroll's side will face The Stan, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One East, at Grounsell Park on Monday, 3rd March. Kick-off has been set at 7.30pm (GMT).

The winner of the tie will face either Morpeth Town or Ashington in the final, which will be held at St. James' Park.

Newcastle's youngsters will be bidding to lift the trophy for a record-extending 41st time after winning the competition last season following a 3-1 win against Blyth Town in the final.
