First task completed for Chivas Femenil Team. With a solid performance, they defeated Atlético San Luis 0-1 this afternoon at the Alfonso Lastras Stadium to earn their first 3 points of the 2025 Apertura of the Liga MX Femenil. Antonio Contreras' team thus reinforces its strong start to the championship, with 12 games in a row without defeat.

In their return to action in the Circuito Rosa, Chivas Femenil reaffirmed the characteristics that set them apart last semester: they were compact in defense and able to strike at key moments in the game. It was precisely these keys that allowed them to control the game, thanks to the early lead they secured, which also allowed them to create chances that were not converted due to some questionable offside calls in the second half.

At the same time, we saw some new faces in the Rojiblanco team, with Natalia Villarreal playing her first minutes from the start and Joseline Montoya making her return home. Both Guadalajara reinforcements performed to their usual high standard, and curiously, both scored but were denied their goal celebrations.

Chivas Femenil's AP25 J2 will also be away from home, as the Rebaño visits Querétaro on Friday, July 18, at the Estadio Olímpico Alameda.

The goals- The first had to be from the 'Predator'! After a great through ball to the back line, 'Viri' Salazar feinted on the line and lobbed the ball to 'Licha' Cervantes, who opened the scoring for Guadalajara in the AP25 with a header.- Chivas Femenil sealed the deal in the 95th minute, once again through Alicia Cervantes, who headed in a great cross from Joseline Montoya.

The dangerous ones- What a play by Guadalajara! In the 40th minute, Cervantes and Jaramillo combined outside the area to leave Salazar alone, who entered the area from the right and lobbed the ball to the far post in what looked like a great goal, but the crossbar denied her.- In the 45th minute, 'Licha' came close to scoring a second goal, thanks to an impeccable through ball from Natalia Villarreal that left her one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but the 'Predator' was unable to direct her volley and allowed the goalkeeper to make the save.- In the 47th minute, Joseline Montoya had sealed her return to Rojiblanca with a goal on a counterattack, but it was ruled offside.- 'Nati' also scored a goal in the 59th minute, but the assistant referee's flag ruled it out for a very questionable offside.- In the 77th minute, Adriana Iturbide won the ball in the middle of the field, looked up, and aimed for the corner of the Potosí goal with her right foot, but her shot went just over the bar.- In the 82nd minute, 'Licha' broke away on the right and saw 'Viri' coming in on the other side, serving her with a powerful shot to the far post, but the defense closed in at the last minute and sent the ball out for a corner kick.- In the next play, the rebound fell again to Salazar, who positioned himself in the half-moon to aim for the far post, but the goalkeeper's hands stopped the shot.- IT HIT THE CROSSBAR! In the 89th minute, Cervantes broke away again, cut inside the area and fired at the Potosí goal, hitting the crossbar. The rebound fell to Montoya, who tried to beat the goalkeeper, but missed by a whisker.
