It’s been confirmed that Chelsea have now sold a player they signed in 2023 for £6.4 million (plus £432,000 in bonuses) in a done deal.
These done deals should start coming in much thicker and faster now as we approach the final four weeks of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea are now super close to signing Jorrel Hato from Ajax with the ‘here we go’ now coming soon for that one.
And it was also confirmed yesterday that midfielder Joao Felix had completed his move to Al Nassr from Chelsea and joins them on a two-year-deal.
Things are heating up and Chelsea are looking to get more new players in the door as well as sort out a large bunch of outgoing transfer deals.
They’ve got another outgoing deal done yesterday, selling a player to their sister club Strasbourg.

Chelsea have turned over a bit of profit on Ishé Samuels-Smith this week, moving him to their other BlueCo owned club in France, Strasbourg.
L’Equipe are reporting that Chelsea has sold Ishé Samuels-Smith to Strasbourg for £6.4 million (plus £432,000 in bonuses). They signed him in 2023, when he arrived from Everton for around £3.8 million.
You would also expect Chelsea to have some sort of tidy buy-back deal on this one because this is a player who expected to end up being very soon. Keeping him amongst their owned clubs might be a smart idea.
Chelsea need another sister club to deal with, because at the moment they are doing loads of deals with Strasbourg and I’m sure the powers that be will find a way to stop it at some point down the line as they wont like this!
